Application Process – Foo Foo Festival Grant Program

Timeline – Foo Foo Festival 2026 (FFF) Grant Program

Current Important Dates
  • February 2, 2026 – In-Person Kickoff Planning Meeting, Visit Pensacola Office (Committee Only)
  • February 9, 2026 – In-Person Kickoff Meeting: Bowden Building – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon CT
  • March 6, 2026 – REQUIRED: Organization Letter of Intent (LOI) – Due to Curator by 12:00 noon 
  • April 2, 2026 – Procedures, Policy, Scorecard Review for Panel Meeting, Visit Pensacola Office (Committee Only)
  • April 6, 2026 – FFF Grant Applications Open on the ACEPensacola.org website
  • April 10, 2026 – FFF Grant Deadline for applicants. Due to Curator by 12:00 noon CT.
  • April 30, 2026 – REQUIRED: Public Grant Scoring and Announcement of grant recipients – 10 a.m. CT; Bowden Building
  • May 1, 2026 – Foo Foo on the Menu and Friend of Foo Applications OPEN
  • May 22, 2026 – Foo Foo on the Menu Applications CLOSE – 5 p.m. CT
  • May 28, 2026 – VIRTUAL (Committee and Agencies ONLY) Initial Creative Presentation
  • June 19, 2026 – Internal Marketing Meeting – 10 a.m. CT, Bait Shop at the Fish House (Committee Only, Agencies, Downs & St Germain)
  • July 1, 2026 – REQUIRED: External Marketing Meeting – 10 a.m. CT; Bowden Building
  • July 10, 2026 – VIRTUAL (Committee and Agencies ONLY) Website and Merchandise
  • October 1, 2026 – Friend of Foo Application Portal CLOSES, 5 p.m. CT
  • October 7, 2026 – REQUIRED: Final Check-In w/ All Grant Recipients and Friends of Foo –  10 a.m. CT; Bowden Building
  • October 29 – November 9, 2026 – 13th Annual, 2026 Foo Foo Festival
  • November 13, 2026 – Recap 2026 Festival, Visit Pensacola Office (Committee Only)
  • December 9, 2026 – DEADLINE (12 noon CT) for all grant recipients to submit their final reports including completed transactions involving expenditures of Foo Foo Grant Funds. This includes copies of cleared checks, bank statements, receipts, invoices, etc.
  • December 11, 2026 –  9 a.m. – 12 noon, Bait House at the Fish House; Recap and Final Reports – Marketing, Committee, Curator, ACE Chair, Hummingbird, Giant Noise and Downs & St. Germain.

Foo Foo Festival Guidelines and Application:

The 13th Edition of the Foo Foo Festival has been announced for October 29 – November 9, 2026

Foo Foo Festival programming should showcase the cultural and arts community — appealing to locals while attracting regional and national visitors as well. As part of the Foo Foo Festival budget, ACE will provide individual organizations with operational funding for the event.

In order to qualify, an organization must be a local non-profit, their proposed event must occur during the determined two-week period of the Foo Foo Festival (Oct. 29  – Nov. 9, 2026), and the event must fall under the arts/culture category including, but not limited to, visual and performing arts, culinary avenues, and cultural arts.

*IMPORTANT* Letter of Intent (Required)

Beginning in 2022, the Foo Foo Festival committee asked all interested organizations to submit an official Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to submitting their grant application. This was an effort to help ensure those interested in becoming grant recipients are indeed eligible prior to submission of their full application. In 2026, this will once again be a REQUIRED item for anyone interested in applying for a Foo Foo Fest programming grant.
